Training Methodology

All participants receive a comprehensive training manual with interactive activities and relevant outcome-based material. Our training employs a variety of methods such as questionnaires, group work, discussion, role-plays, as well as copy-written training exercises to ensure maximum learning transfer.

Amongst our facilitors is the Institute’s General Manager, Mr Alex Semba, who holds dual Master’s degrees in HIV/AIDS Management and Analysis and Design of Social Protection Systems, complemented by extensive experience in social science research and facilitation. With affiliations including the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, GIZ, and the South African Department of Higher Education and Training, he has honed his expertise in program design, implementation, and evaluation across diverse contexts.
